Mey-Ling has built her career on a journey through Caracas, Miami, New York, Buenos Aires, Paris and Madrid. She studied various dance, movement and theater techniques, including formal programs at Alvin Ailey (NY) and L'Ècole Jacques Lecoq (Paris).
Institutions who have supported her work: Antorchas Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Comunidad de Madrid, Suresnes Cité Danse, Theatre de l’Ouest Parisien, Maison du Théâtre de la Danse, Epinay sur Seine, Centre Nationale de la Danse, CCN de Créteil et du Val-de-Marne, CCN de La Rochelle, ADDP Micadanse (FR), Centro de Recursos Artísticos Nave del Duende, Centro Cultural Paco Rabal, Centro Danza Canal, Coreógrafos en Comunidad – Conde Duque, Centro Comarcal de Humanidades Sierra Norte (ES) and Centro per la Scena Contemporanea Bassano del Grappa (IT).
She has also taken the choreographic direction of the “Cabalgata de Reyes de Madrid 2017, 2018and 2019” ( Madrid’s Christamas parade” ) choreographing more than 350 volunteers and professionals for this important celebration of the city.
And her piece “When a dream dies, a lot of blood flows..” has been awarded as a winning project of the open call Of Death and Dying by Associazione Cultural dello Scompiglio.
